lost can be found.
pain can be - sometimes - soothed.
but, she wonders: can the repaired, the rediscovered, the relieved (or the rehabilitated) ever again be what it was before its encounter with adversity?

Would you really want it to be? The adversity of fracture, loss and pain transforms gradually over time. I try to look for the growth within the transformation. It is there.
it is not ALWAYS there. scar tissue does not always enrich. it alters, but not necessarily in a positive way. one becomes wiser, but, only blessed, happier, as far as i can see..
