between saying and doing
"and forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair."
- kahlil gibran (1883 - 1931)
(he may need to take his hat off, though, for the full effect.)
*photographing people on the street - snoozers don't count - is something i don't do much of. he does, better than almost anyone i know, and he's heading up my way tomorrow. maybe i'll pick up some pointers; maybe i won't: it will be a treat to see him again anyway.

enjoy your day with razzi!
Lynn, I needed some Gibran in my life today. The image and quote is cup of tea in a zen garden.
ReplyDeletei agree, too.
ReplyDeletehave a good time with him. :-)
~street fotos/portraits are a great way to overcome any inhibition when it comes to meeting people, and I must say razzi definitely has the knack for shooting people, I admire that in his images...I always ask about the person I shoot, just walk right up and start b.s.'ing about whatever comes to mind, it's a great way to break the ice and start shooting~
