the sweep of things

this was exactly what i needed today: a friend; a walk; a wide and windy beach; the crunch of razor clams; the dance of bright kites, cords taut to the clouds; the colours of
a kindly winter.
it cleared my head of cobwebs.
at least for now.

  1. It sounds like fun. And a great picture too. It's been months since I've seen a beach. It can be unbearably cold on our beaches this time of year.

  7. It'd would be so lovely if I can go out to the beach..walking on the sea-salted sand....
But nope. It's freezing here in NY and I'm allergic to sea water.
    Wah.

  10. I love the feeling you've captured of walking on that skim layer of water that ices the beach. Very crisp and refreshing.
