britches and bridges



my mother - at the first sign of childish bad-weather chagrin - always reassured us:
if there is enough blue in the sky to make a pair of sailor's pants, then the day will turn out fine.
and she was right.
mothers often are.

  5. Yep, great sky for sure but you could also read this picture in another way.
    Thick black clouds are gathering above the heads of the Royal Family :-)

  6. yep yep yep ... the clouds are complex. But what a knockout is that statue ... what does it signify? A crown with a lamp of either side ... with attendant gargoyle. Pray tell ...
